I’m amazed that we’re already more than halfway through the semester. Looking back, we’ve covered so much ground, and I’ve learned so much in terms of digital creation just in these last couple of months.
This week, one of the assignments was to do a Design Blitz (similar to our Photo Blitz challenge a couple weeks ago!). This page is currently under construction.
Although I haven’t ever really thought about becoming a graphic designer, and I don’t think that’s what’s in store for me in the future, thinking about visual design and reading and watching this week’s assigned material was quite fascinating for me.

This week’s ds106 focus is audio! Since we’ve got a ds106 radio station, one of the assignments was to create a radio bumper. In order to make it, I downloaded Audacity (an audio editing tool) and used it for the first time.
